We as creatives need to express the importance of simple things we never truly appreciate about being apart of nature because in generations to come they’ll only know the lab or the artificial farm. They’ll never have parents or have experience of being conceived through natural means, they’ll be void of a maternal/paternal connection with their parents as these artificial birth labs become ever more prevalent.
As the ‘transhuman’ agenda materialises humans innate strive for perfection over one another will lead many to indulge in such enhancements at their own detriment, leaving themselves to be controlled and monitored closer than before.
We live in scary times where wearable technology becomes ever more popular, we’re inseparable from our smart devices to the point where they’ve become our masters. We go to these things for the most complex and simple of tasks, fuelling this device with information with no consideration to the effect such devices have on us mentally. Constantly living with electromagnetic fields of connectivity with no thought about whether the continued exposure to such radiation is good for your health in the long run.
Do we place too much trust in these products when we are told to respect the feeling of AI personalities and systems, if we don’t consider AI are we susceptible to having an uprising on our hands of something we cannot control as the enemy on the other side knows every move before we make it and can outsmart us with rapid algorithmic calculations of infinite probabilities of the next few moves within seconds?
We as humanity seem to be victims of our own technological advancements, our collective disregard for nature, the cosmos, pursuit of knowledge and our fellow human being, all in favour of chasing a digit to buy more things, to clear more debt and to be judged how better in life we’re doing by unrealistic standards of happiness -usually set by our own disregard for being content with the simple things in life.
Everything we think and do are preconceived notions of an ideal. We paid to be educated by a system that wants to keep us indebted to their services through tax, national insurance, student loans but only pay us the minimum so we can’t escape a heinous cycle of contempt and self loathing.
Soon tomorrow’s generation wouldn’t know their parents or ancestors, they will be void of paternal/maternal connection as they’ll be bred in laboratories and farms to serve the wealthy corporations who will continue to decimate all life, nature and values in their pursuit to rule, control, suppress and out-power anything or anyone in their way.
I hate to admit to myself that many things seen in the matrix are beginning to ring true. Those [so called] ‘conspiracy theory’ books I read from researchers who were dismissed by mainstream media are beginning to look like the truth in an era of misinformation, excess, overindulgence, ignorance.
If you’re an artist in any sense of the word please express what it’s like to experience some of the simple but intricate things, revel in the idea and complexities of being alive and free. It’s our duty to educate future generations who may not live in the era of a glorious tipping point where we have the power to change things for the better or the power to be brainwashed and suppressed.
