The Breakout Club @ Amersham Arms, 22nd June
The Breakout Club will be the 2nd instalment in The Midi Music Company’s 21st anniversary celebrations. Their event in March saw a packed crowd bobbling along to a line up of United Vibrations, Terra Viva, George Works and Neekz, this time around the party will continue with a high octane lineup featuring:
LAZY TALK – Reggae / Ska / Brit-Pop
This band of north Londoners have recently supported The Specials at the Roundhouse and more recently played Maker Festival cornwall.
BARBARELLA’S BANG BANG – Avant-Garde / European / Gypsy Folk
If they aren’t rocking their way through the Rocklands of South London, they are probably out touring Germany and have conquered crowds as far as Japan. If you’re a fan of great vibes, dancing and having fun, we’re pretty sure that this band will have you on your feet all night long.
CONRAD KIRA – Electro / Rap / Grime
Whether you know your Wiley from your Skepta or your Square from your Newham Generals, one thing for sure is that you won’t forget the name Conrad Kira. A sincere and expressive artist who isn’t afraid to blur electronic music boundaries. His forthcoming track Baka shut down an event called Industry Takeover with it’s raw, upfront and ground shaking anti-bullying message.
ANGELINA LUZI – Folk / Pop / Electronica
Endearing, melancholic and delightful, probably not three words you’d usually hear together in a world outside of the arts but it seems that Angelina has a knack for capturing true human emotional sentiment. Whether it was the chase on her previous track ‘Let Your Be Mine’, or her most recent cathartic journey in ‘No Eyes There’, Luzi will provide the perfect soundtrack to get the Terra Viva front lady will provide the perfect vibe to get the night started.
DJ NG will be providing the vibes on the night and OGGIE & CARRIE will be your hosts.
